Nikon C1si

Nikon C1si User Guide

The Nikon C1si is an upright confocal laser-scanning microscope with four visible diode lasers for multi-color imaging. The laser lines include: 404 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 639 nm. The microscope has 2 types of detectors: one with 4 virtual band pass detectors and one with a spectral detector that can image 32 different channels simultaneously (adjustable widths of 2.5 nm, 5 nm, and 10 nm). The instrument is built around an upright Nikon FN1 microscope body with a large electrophysiology stage. The maximum penetration depth into tissue is approximately 100-200 µm depending on the opacity of the sample.

This microscope is suitable for slice, slides, and live samples stable at room temperature.
